Never any sales pressure, we welcome PMA members and persons with other funeral plans to help families overcome limitations and problems History: * Established in 2004, Steven Barton founded Barton Family Funeral Service after working 15 years for large corporate funeral homes where he became disillusioned with the high pressure sales tactics, extremely high prices, and not being allowed to really be a funeral director instead of a salesman. The first office opened in Renton in 2004, with the Kirkland location opening in 2006, and the North Seattle location opened in early 2011. The company has grown rapidly during its short seven years to be a major force in the Seattle funeral industry through referrals from grateful families and health care professionals.

We just spent a week attending my grandfather's funeral in Seattle and I have to say that the Barton funeral home made everything so much easier than I have ever seen before. When my uncle told me what the total funeral cost was and I asked a few questions around here, I was amazed that a funeral in a big city like Seattle can be done for so much less than in little old Alvin Texas. Pat Barton was so kind and I found out she has grandchildren that live close to us. What a small world. So I just want to say thank you to Pat and Stan.
A few years ago when my brother died, Steve Barton took care of him and helped with the funeral. Every year at this time, I remember how kind Steve and his mother were and I want to thanks them publicly. Sergio from So Paulo

I think people need to know that there is at least one funeral home out there that cares more about people than money. When my uncle passed away in Lynnwood, we had no how to get him back home. We talked to a local funeral home and they said they could take care of everything but the price they gave us was frightening so I went on the internet and found a funeral home near Lynnwood that said they answer the phones 24 hours a day so I figured it was OK to call at 6 AM. I called at 6 AM and talked to Steve who sounded sleepy and then I realized that it was 4 AM there. Later that morning Steve's mom called me back with a price including air transport and recommended a young man here who picked up my uncle and took care of getting him to the veterans cemetery where we had the most touching simple service in my life. Thanks to Steve and Pat in Seattle and Brian and Cindy here.
