Recently my dog became seriously ill and I ended up bringing her in three consecutive days and having some really heart-wrenching decisions to make. Dr. Crauer, who ultimately performed surgery on my dog, went above in beyond in an effort to help us make the best decisions for our beloved pet, even taking x-rays that I was not charged for to help make a better diagnosis. After her surgery and Dr. Crauer's decision to not put her through spleen removal he allowed me to go in the back and be with her as she was waking up. When Dr. Yanik called to follow up after the weekend I broke down on the phone having to tell her that our Ginger had passed away. She was so heartfelt and kind, as was all of the staff at Carkeek through the entire ordeal, and did her best to make me feel better. I even received a sympathy card and while nothing can take away the grief that accompanies a loss like this, it was very comforting to know how much they cared and were pulling for our sweet girl. Thank You.

Would never take my animals anywhere else! My beautiful corgi was hit by a car recently and the staff were so kind and patient. They treated us both with sympathy and respect and when she didn't make it, sent beautiful cards expressing condolences. The doctors and staff are the best!
