Atlantic Street Center is a social service agency that provides counseling, educational, social and recreational programs for children, youth and their families. Located in Seattle, the center offers mental health counseling, youth development activities, early literacy programs and parent support services to more than 3,000 low-income families. Its child development program promotes early learning, language development and school readiness for young children. The center s youth activities include arts and crafts, music, dance and field trips. Founded in 1910, Atlantic Street Center employs case mangers and therapists who offer mental health counseling for families dealing with depression, divorce, domestic violence and unstable life situations.
