Please Beware before you think about making a purchase here. I'm retired, and last Saturday purchased a small item for $15.99. When I got home I found it was not what I needed. The next morning i returned with the unopened package, but had misplaced my receipt. When I presented the item for a refund the clerk stated, " How do I know you paid for this? The receipt tells me how you paid". I left telling him to keep the item and the money. I'm a Vet, and have never been accused of theft in my life. I will never enter another Ace Hardware. I work part time near by, and intend to warn everyone I meet about there "Helpful" Customer service. Beware!! Mike Clark.

if you need something, and don't mind feeling like your simply a nuisance to the staff, you MIGHT find what you need here. the manager "linda" seems to be bipolar: 1 day she is friendly, the next she's obviously upset if you so much as ask a question, and is often heard yelling at and belittling her employees. perhaps this is why NONE of the staff are willing to help answer questions or tell you where anything is without becoming annoyed and only begrudgingly willing to help customers. the store also opens late and closes early on weekends when most people are likely to be working on projects and need items from a hardware store. i only give them a second star because they have a decent selection of items to choose from, though the staff has no idea what most of it is used for.
