food and service was great!

Pizza was ok..not greasy or oily like a lot of other pizzas, however ordered pizza to be picked up at 6:00 but when we got there 10 mins early the pizza was already ready to go..needless to say, we had to reheat when we got home...they need to time their orders better.

I went there for lunch. The inside the restaurant is FREEZING ..no heat and door constantly opening to add to the frosty small astmosphere. Pizza came quickly and service good, but pizza was bland and not anything like Grimaldi's in Brooklyn. Was annoyed to pay the expensive bill for favorless pizza. Par to say the least. They need to get their act together in the kitchen. Also take out of pizza is in paper bags, sure that doesn't taste good when you get it home. Cold just like the inside of that place.

i recently ordered two small plain pies and was told to pick them up in 40 minutes. When i arrived, i was told they were "a little backed up" and the order would be ready "shortly". Well, "shortly" translated into another hour. And i wasn't the only one; i noticed several customers already waiting & others coming in and being told the same story. Quite a few left after waiting, but that didn't make my order come out any faster. No one in the management seemed concerned or offered an apology when i finally got my order. The only reason i waited was that my girlfriend wanted to try Grimaldi's having heard such good things about the one in NYC. Well, we were disappointed - the dough was tough & chewy & there wasn't much tomatoe sauce or cheese & four basil leaves is stingy even for a small pie. I'm sticking my local guy, thank you...oh yes, even though i didn't order any toppings, beware that they charge the same price whether it's a half or whole pie
