What was good:

-The French Fries

-The Soda



What was not good:

-The food that made us all feel sick

-The dirty silverware

-The old, bitter coffee

-The waitress becoming angry when corrected nicely

-The best the waitress can do for us is tell us, "I didn't do it!"

-Being called miserable by the waitress

I've been going there for quite some time now and ever since the new owners took them over they've hired some shady staff. There's a tan lady with really curly hair that gives you the food never checks back on you, not even once and never has my bill been added right. She adds in her favor everyyytime and pockets the rest. Since when does two pepsi's and mozzarella sticks cost $32?! Watch out for her she's still there.

You simply can't go wrong with the Viewmont Diner! I take my family and friends there at least once a week, and have been since shortly after they opened. I have not had a single bad experience there. The food is always great, and they have an enormous selection. The staff is very friendly and the service is great. Prices are reasonable, and you can get everything from a simple BLT or scrambled eggs all the way up to gourmet platters that put many fancy restaurants to shame.



If you're in the Scranton area and looking for a great family restaurant, the Viewmont Diner is absolutely a must!

I like the Viewmont Diner because they have lots of good food, at reasonable prices for the family.
