Established in 1954, Friends of the Orphans is a nonprofit organization engaged in supporting orphaned children. Based in Mesa, Ariz., the organization helps orphaned, abandoned and disadvantaged children through the support of the Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos (NPH). NPH provides a safe home, warm meals and education to abandoned and disadvantaged children. The organization supports more than 3,000 children across countries, such as Bolivia, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras and Nicaragua, to name a few. Friends of the Orphans is a Better Business Bureau (BBB) accredited.
