Waited 15 minutes at the outside drive-up donation area. Pushed the outside button at least 4 different times with no response from Goodwill employees. I then called the store, informed the female employee of how long I have been waiting outside to make a donation. She said she would call for someone to assist me. I waited another 5 minutes and still no one came to the door.Once again I called the store and this time I spoke to a male employee, who apologized for the delay and said that he "personally" would meet me at the back door to assist me. Which he did. I asked him if their service button was not working. He said, "No, it was not". I suggested to him. "then someone should post a sign, informing donators that the service button is out of order." I also suggested putting the store phone number on the sign with the store hours, so that donators can call from their cell phone to inform the store of a donation at rear of the store. Thus, preventing them from having to drive all the way around all the other stores to get to the front of the Goodwill store, just to make a donation. As a service to all your donators.....PLEASE get your Service button repaired and train your employees to post a sign when the button is out of order, and post your store phone number on your sign. This will "at least" show an effort on Goodwill's part to help minimize this problem, when it occurs.
