Dr. Gary Waslewski is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine surgery who has practiced in the Phoenix area almost 20 years. Currently, Dr. Waslewski is the head team physician for the Arizona Cardinals, Arizona Diamondbacks and Phoenix Suns. He spent fourteen years as head team physician for the Arizona Coyotes. Whether treating professional athletes or weekend warriors, his goal is to help patients return to performing and playing at their peak. As such, he spends ample time with every patient, exploring both non-operative and surgical treatment options to deliver optimal outcomes. Dr. Waslewski specializes in surgery for the throwing elbow and shoulder, with vast experience in Tommy John surgery. He is widely known as Arizona’s leading orthopedist in complex hip arthroscopy. Dr. Waslewski completed fellowship training in sports surgery, including complex shoulder and knee ligament problems, at the prestigious American Sports Medicine Institute under James Andrews, MD. Dr. Waslewski’s practice treats all common and complex sports and weekend warrior injuries.
