Pam White attended Midwifery School in the early 80's, acquiring an Associate's degree in Midwifery and has practiced as an Arizona Licensed Midwife since that time. She has attended over 1,500 births. In many cases, Pam has helped individual families with a number of babies and has been fortunate to work with extended families as well. A special joy has been to help babies that she has delivered to birth their own babies. In 1992, Pam White became an instructor Neonatal Resuscitation Education and has taught over 125 classes since then to Midwives and other birth care providers in Arizona and around the country. She loves the sharing of information and considers teaching a great way to keep her skills current.Pam White delivered her first of 4 daughters at home under the care of Midwives in 1981. This special experience led her to pursue Midwifery as a career. She attended Midwifery school while apprenticing with practicing Arizona Licensed Midwives, sat for her state boards and became licensed in 1984. To date, she has attended over 1,500 births. Through the years, Pam White has increased her knowledge base by attending many educational workshops and forums, both as student and teacher. She has been teaching neonatal resuscitation classes since 1992, and has been actively involved as an examiner for the licensing process for Midwives in Arizona since the late 1990s. Pam believes strongly in education and has served as a mentor and preceptor for many Midwifery students. She believes it is important that we all share wisdom and knowledge that we have learned through our varied experiences.
