The Scott County Family YMCA is a nonprofit organization that offers various programs for youths and community development. It features a more than 11,000-square-foot gymnasium for basketball and volleyball. Additionally, the organization s facilities include an aerobic and conference room, outdoor patio area, lobby, and men's and women's locker rooms. The Scott County Family YMCA also features a fitness center that is equipped with cardiovascular and weight training equipment. Its health and fitness programs include classes in Pilates, yoga, aerobics and cardio kickboxing. In addition, the organization hosts soccer, golf and volleyball camps. The Scott County Family YMCA is located in Scottsburg, Ind., and conducts healthy senior fitness classes that include strength development and aerobic instruction, as well as informational sessions on diet and health.
