My husband has looked for a good mechanic in this area for quite awhile. He called Dave at D&S this morning and he said to bring in the car and he would like at it. He was honest and told us up front what it would cost and that is what it was. We didn't have to mortgage our house to pay for it. He is a very good mechanic and will get all of our business from now on. We highly recommend him.

An excellent experience. I have a Ford Expedition that I have had since new in 2005. It's kind of my baby, not worth much, but my baby. It has 197k miles and was in dire need of a tune up. I live in New Albany, IN and I had asked around at my church as to whom someone would recommend to do my tune up (Expeditions with my 5.4 ltr engines normally break plugs or strip in the head) and they recommended Dave at D&S. He is about 40 minutes away from me, but I drove out anyway. He was very clear on the risk of the issues with the plugs, explained the additional costs if a plug stripped and that he could not guarantee we would not have issues. I left the vehicle, it was done on time and a very reasonable expense. I don't normally like to wait in line or pass 20 other mechanics to get something done, but I would work with D&S anytime. Dave's team was a pleasure to work with.

I took my car here about a week ago and wanted to wait some time to write a review. After a week of driving my car, the gas mileage is great, it runs much better, and the repair came in under the estimated price. He also fixed my axle which just needed tightened and another shop told me it needed replaced. I also bought 4 brand new tires from him which were quoted at a very good price. He fixed me up maintenance wise and put 4 new tires on for the same price that another shop quoted me for an axle (which I ended up not needing) and 4 tires. He was also honest and told me I didn't need the axle fixed or replaced instead of just doing it and pocketing the money which he could have done. I will take my car back to him, and our other cars as well.

great group of guys to deal with. repaired my toyota brakes with no pressure. showed me the problems, quoted a repair price and a pick up time and kept their word on everything. beat my other estimate by 30%. gave a life time warranty on repairs.. great job guys!!!!!! again thanks so much for a job well done.Dennis Kirk.

i recently had my vehicle to 3 independant repair shops and a dealership for a no start condition. after talking to dave at d&s i felt i would give him a try. i dropped the pontiac off and a few hours later he had it diaganosed properly. my total repair cost was 72 dollars. i had spent hundreds of dollars previously and had many parts thrown at my car but never repaired. i highly suggest this repair facility to anyone looking for honest trustworthy repairs. WHAT I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR IN A REPAIR SHOP FOR QUITE SOME TIME. I HAVE FOUND MY GARAGE!!!!!!!!! thanks so much dave, you saved my car.
