Howard B. Brunner School serves students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The school operates a library and media center that offers an accelerated reader program. Additionally, it offers gifted and talented education, reading recovery, bilingual education, regional day school and summer enrichment programs. Howard B. Brunner School has a parent-teacher association that organizes various fundraising activities that include assembly programs, scholastic book fairs and school spirit nights. The school s academic curriculum includes special education, reading, art, math, science, social studies and physical education. Located in Wichita Scotch Plains, N.J., it is a part of Scotch Plains-Fanwood Public Schools.
