this was the worse dentist experience I have ever had!
Too bad too because my great dentist retired Dr. WILIAM .
If I would have had a good experience there would have been many referrals for Dr. Ray .
This is what happened they said I needed six fillings. I told them that my husband had a very bad experience
With the “White Fills” and he said to make sure I get the “Silver one”
The Doctor RAY was trying to talk me out of the silver one and almost did.
I returned for my fallow up appointment to get Three of the six teeth filled on July 11 at 6:00PM
The first girl gave me Novocain. ( she wasn’t very careful ) Then another girl with curly hair named Shannon
Who had no bed side manner at all came in and I told her I wanted to have the Silver fillings.
Well I never thought that would be such a big deal but boy was it! There was be extra bonus for the “white Fillings”
The Doctor came in and said I understand you want the “Silver Fills” I say yes! He wanted to know why?
I think point I was very tired of explaining again why I wanted them! I told him I had already explained this in the last visit.
I told him I am the customer he said I AM THE DOCTOR ! and he left the room. I said well I pay the bills.
Then he came back and drilled my teeth, the other lady Shannon came back and filled my tooth
Not sure what her problem was but he treated me like I was a second class citizen. She would caught my lip on the suction
And not even say she was sorry she pulled my hair and kept working without saying anything like how much longer it would be
Or what she was doing.
I told her I would be getting the other three teeth filled by DR Misty (Who my mother-in-law had referred me to)
Her answer to that was well she is all the way in Chesterton. I said that is OK I drive to Kankakee for my heart Doctor that would not be a problem
Then said had the gull to say In the Chesterton office they do not do the silver fillings.
So my reply was that fine I will go somewhere else altogether to get the other teeth filled just give me my x-rays.
She said she would. To make matter s worse I had to come back this Monday July 18 because the bite was off and there was a sharp piece on my tooth
That bother my tong.
It is too bad you treat people like you did because as I said before I sure had a lot of referrals to give you IF you were a decent dentist office.
No wonder it was so easy to get an appointment. Oh the girl at the front desk was very nice maybe the Doctor and Shannon can learn from her how you treat

I drive from Manteno IL to see Dr Ray and Dr Bob. The staff and doctors are very personable, down to earth people! It is nice to have doctors you can talk to about your issues and they actually take their time to explain your options. The office is very modern and they have TV's in the rooms and lots of magazines in the waiting room. As far as waiting goes the nice thing is that the girls that call you for your appointment are always trying to accommodate your schedule and when you walk in you pretty much go straight to see the dentist! Dr Pieters is sensitive to his patients needs. Staff is friendly but professional. Appointments are on time. Highly recommended.
