Established in 1953. Evan Christou is a third generation restaurant owner at this location. His grandmother's brother purchased the original "rail car" diner located at the five corners in 1953. In the mid 1960's, his father's brother, Peter Christou, brought in a brand new, modern "modular style" diner to replace the rail car. In 1983, his father and his partner "Uncle Nick", doubled the size of the restaurant by adding a dining room. So, in staying with the family tradition of keeping up with the times, his father and himself ventured into a total rebuild and rebranding of Tops in 2006.
