We contracted Shear to put up siding, wrap the windows and doors, put up new facia, and to drill and hang new sophets. The workers, Scott and Derek, were great! They showed up around the same time everyday, put in a full days work, and when they were done, they cleaned up the yard like they were never there. They worked around our dogs being in the yard with no problems as well. The work completed was done to our satisfaction and then some; our neighbors are commenting on how great it looks too! Great job, and thank you for everything!

I was asked to provide an honest review of the project ... OK here goes. The project was replacement of an asphalt roof on the main house and the replacement of a membrane roofing system on a bay window. Were they the cheapest contractor .... no. I received bids from 3 contractors, one was higher and one was lower, but they were the only ones to address all aspects of the project as I had requested. They were also the only firm to provide detail specifications on materials to be utilized on the project. They adjusted their schedule to allow me to be present when work was done and kept a close watch on weather to avoid opening a roof during a potential rainfall. The crew knowledgeable and worked quickly, but when necessary was given expert direction by Jim, the crew chief. Excellent clean up during and when work was completed. Would I hire this company again .... yes. Would I recommend this firm ... yes. Ed in Rotterdam

Lasy year it was siding replacement and some windows. This year I had Shear Contractors do more windows. Again, I am very pleased with the end result. The work perfomed by Scott and Derek was done competently, efficiently, clean and quick. They exceded my expectations at a fair price. It is a pleasure to have Shear Contractors do my project work.

shear contractors did a great job on my roof, the workers were very professional ,the owner was a nice guy even stopped over in the middle of the job to make sure it was being done right, look forward to doing more business with them,also my roof looks great!
Shear Contractors did a terrible job on my roof. They completed it in a half a day in the rain and it has been leaking ever since. When I pointed out the leaks, they refused to repair the leaks but threatened that they would sue for final payment. They took advantage of a single woman attempting to intimidate me and insult me. Completely professional, thorough, meticulous, and CLEAN WORK. All of our neighbors approached us during and after, complimenting the curb appeal. They worked quick, with attention to detail and no sacrifice on quality. Would highly recommend; delivered all promises, made the process painless.

Shear Contractors did my roof and I was very pleased with the entire experience. The entire staff was extremely professional & courteous and they did a fantastic job on my roof from start to finish. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good contractor.
