- Dental ExaminationAfter being greeted by our friendly front desk team, you’ll only have a few minutes to relax in our plush reception area before you’re escorted to your treatment room. There, one of our dental assistants will begin the appointment by taking a few X-rays and scans of your mouth. After that, you’ll get to meet your dentist, who will spend a few moments chatting with you before performing an oral exam. They’ll then go over their observations with you, discuss any additional treatments you might need, and then you’ll have a chance to ask as many questions as you like.

- Oral Cancer ScreeningOral cancer claims thousands of lives every year, many cases of which weren’t even properly diagnosed until they’d already reached advanced stages. At Royal Dental Care, we know that dentists are the first line of defense against this horrible condition, and our team takes this responsibility very seriously. We provide in-depth screenings as a vital part of each checkup, reviewing the oral tissue for suspicious crusts, sores, discoloration, and other signs that may point towards cancerous cells. If needed, we can arrange a biopsy to test abnormal tissue and procure a confident diagnosis.
- Teeth CleaningWhen you are already juggling a busy family’s needs, constantly being referred to outside offices by your chosen dental practice can be a frustrating drain on time and money. That is why Royal Dental Care is committed to bringing specialty services to YOU instead. We offer an extensive menu of treatment options, from the essentials like dental checkups and teeth cleanings to advanced smile makeovers, surgical extractions, state-of-the-art dental implants, comprehensive orthodontics, and much more. Our doctors also always take the time to customize their recommendations for your unique goals, preferences, and needs.
- Fluoride TreatmentFluoride is an enormously beneficial mineral for oral health – years of dedicated research have shown a clear correlation between stronger, less cavity-prone teeth and safe exposure to fluoride through drinking water and oral hygiene products! Our dentists can provide an additional boost of strength in the form of professional fluoride treatment during regular checkups and cleanings. While we usually recommend this service for children, adults may also benefit in certain circumstances.

- VeneersPorcelain veneers are thin ceramic shells that are bonded to the front surfaces of your teeth. These sheets of porcelain are crafted to conceal many kinds of flaws in your smile, including the following...
- CrownsIf your gums are uneven, or if they cover more of your teeth than they should, you have what is commonly known as a “gummy” smile. Here at Royal Dental Care, we can correct this issue via gum recontouring (which is sometimes called crown lengthening or a cosmetic gum lift). This gentle procedure can take your gums from being the star of the show to being a subtle framework for your beautiful teeth.
- BridgesUnlike traditional dental bridges, implant-retained teeth don’t require any surrounding dental structure to be negatively altered to accommodate their placement.
- Dental BondingWhile teeth whitening products don’t damage restorations such as fillings, crowns, or dental bonding, it is important to speak with your cosmetic dentist before you have the procedure. Typically, we don’t recommend people with visible restorations getting teeth whitening because they won’t change color like your natural teeth will. That means that any pre-existing dental work would need to be replace in order to match the rest of your mouth if you do decide to have the procedure.
- Restorative DentistryIt may have started with a hesitation to smile. Then a shortened menu and a reluctance to enjoy meals with friends. Over time, extensive tooth loss can limit what you eat and say and constrain your lifestyle, relationships, and overall well-being. As award-winning dentists passionate about helping our patients restore their smiles and lives, we offer comprehensive restorative dentistry to help you do just that.
- Root Canal TreatmentWhen you experience extreme pain or sensitivity in a tooth, chances are that you have an infection. In the past, this could only be dealt with by extracting your tooth, however root canal therapy in Schaumberg gives us another option. Now, we can get patients out of pain without creating a gap in their smile. Keep reading to see how we use root canal therapy to save our patients’ teeth and provide them with comfort.
- Gingivectomy and GingivoplastyGum disease can cause pockets of disease-causing bacteria between your teeth and your gums. If left untreated, this tissue can become permanently damaged. In order to eradicate the disease, we’re able to remove untreatable gum tissue and the bacteria it’s harboring through a gingivectomy. We use our dental laser to simply remove this tissue without the need for a scalpel. This treatment can even result in a more balanced and esthetically appealing gumline.
- Deep CleaningScaling & Root Planing. This deep cleaning involves two distinct components. First, our team will remove bacterial buildup from above and below the gum line with special instruments (the “scaling” portion). Then, it will be time to address the tooth roots, which often develop rough surfaces that attract plaque over time. By performing root planing, we’ll gradually smooth them down to prevent further reoccurrences of infection and encourage the gum tissue to naturally reattach in place.

- Tooth ExtractionsIf plaque and tartar aren’t regularly removed from your teeth, they can lead to cavities. Eventually, the bacteria will reach the pulp of your tooth and cause an infection. Oftentimes, this can be resolved with a root canal, but if too much damage is done, restoration may not be possible and a tooth extraction in Schaumburg might be needed. Other potential health complications that can lead to tooth removal include a traumatic oral injury and baby teeth preventing the eruption of adult teeth.
- Bone GraftingWe’re often able to combine multiple surgical treatments into one visit to minimize appointments and help you reach your new smile in less time. These may include tooth extractions or bone grafting. Once your treatment site is fully prepared, we’ll use our pre-planned surgical guide to place each dental implant into your jawbone precisely. These dental implants act as the foundation for your new bridge of teeth. When placed using our computer-guided implant surgery approach, we can offer more predictable and precise results and restore our patients’ lives long-term.
- OrthodonticsUsing Phase 1 Orthodontics, we can guide the formation of your child’s bite and create room for permanent teeth to grow in properly as their jaw develops. Early intervention with Phase 1 Orthodontics often minimizes your child’s need for further orthodontic treatment later in life.
