Mireya is already a veteran with our health care team. She is an extremely dedicated Certified Physician Assistant, providing patient care, which includes prenatal care, preventive annual exams, pap smears, and contraceptive counseling. Having received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Loyola University, Chicago, she continued on for an Associate of Applied Science Physician Assistant degree, as well as a Master of Medical Science. She is proficient in assessing and diagnosing patients, and she is highly regarded for her thorough and compassionate manner. Mireya is Spanish bilingual, which has proven to be a tremendous asset for many of our patients. This skill was also extremely useful in one of her previous positions with AXA Assistance USA, where she was an International Assistance Coordinator. In that capacity, she aided in the emergency medical evacuation of foreign nationals, and acted as an interpreter for hospitals, medical providers, clients and medical correspondents.
