When our mother passed away suddenly we didn't know how to plan for her service. We looked online at funeral homes that had warmth and staff that were caring and found both at Michaels. We mainly spoke with Michael who was readily available and compassionate, however everyone at Michaels was very kind.We highly recommend Michaels because they guided us through a difficult process and even arranged to have the Air Force present for our mother's service, so that she could be honored as a veteran. In addition, the video montage that was created for us was heartfelt and the pianist who played at the opening of the service made the surroundings pleasant. All of these aspects are important because when a loved one passes away you are not emotionally or physically able to cope with tasks like this. My dad died rather suddenly. I didn't get to say goodbye. Flying home for the funeral, I dreaded the thought of what the next few days would be like. Now, looking back, I realize it is one of the more beautiful memories I have. Ray was the person who helped us make the arrangements. How patient he was!!! And so understanding of our desire to honor my dad. They helped us in every way (from the video montage to the Celtic harpist and military honor guard) in making my father's passing a beautiful part of his Life! I think I can speak for my whole family when I say that because of all that Michaels did for us, we really felt my dad was there in joyful spirit and will treasure these beautiful memories always.
