- Pediatric Care earned both her Doctoral and Masters Degrees from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, Illinois, and holds certificates in both cognitive-behavioral therapy and marriage/family therapy.  Dr. Tisdall has owned and operated Advanced Behavioral Solutions since 1997 in both Northwest and Southwest Suburbs. As Director of Clinical Training and Supervision, Dr. Tisdall is also a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who earned a Bachelors Degree from the University of California at Berkeley in California where she worked for seven years in management training and consulting. Dr. Tisdall received her clinical training at Advocate Healthcare, the Childhood Trauma Treatment Program, Columbia River Edge Hospital, Seguin Services, Christ Hospital Emergency Medical Center, Pediatric Care, and Diagnostic Services Associates. Dr. Tisdall worked as a counselor at Moraine Valley Community College in Palos Hills, Illinois, providing a wide range of counseling services to college students and the community, as well as worked as an adjunct professor in the psychology department.  Dr. Tisdall works extensively with couples, families, children, adolescents, and adults, and specializes in treating individuals with Depression and Anxiety Disorders, ADHD, Autism, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and Panic Disorder. She also administers psychological testing, ADHD evaluations, executive function tutoring, and is passionate about providing career/vocational assessments. Additionally, Dr. Tisdall and her clinical team provide Immediate Risk Assessment Services to school districts within the Northwest Suburbs. Â
- AutismThis group provides education and support to adults dealing with a myriad of daily life stressors. Topics include: setting short and long-term goals, increasing motivation, maintaining organization at home, work, and school, as well as applying social problem solving skills. This group is ideal for adults dealing with life transitions, social challenges, developmental delays (e.g., Autism Spectrum Disorders), and those simply wishing to lead a more enriched life. Through self-reflection and interactive discussion, participants learn to identify and break unhealthy behavior patterns, successfully navigate social challenges, and gain the courage necessary to lead more productive lives.
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)This group is for Elementary School and Middle School-aged boys presenting with ADD/ADHD or ADD/ADHD-like symptoms, and/or for kids needing help to make and keep friends.
