Founded in 1984, Jansen Hospice and Palliative Care provides specialized care to meet the medical, emotional and spiritual needs of patients with terminal illnesses. It offers consulting, counseling, and pain and symptom management services. The agency provides services throughout Westchester County and the Bronx in New York. In addition, Jansen Hospice and Palliative Care offers physical, occupational and speech therapies. Its complementary care services include music, pet, Reiki massage and guided imagery therapies. The agency operates a development department and participates in various committees, such as community relations, continuing education, speakers' bureau and fundraising.
