Standard Concrete Company designs and manufactures a wide variety of prestress and precast concrete products for government and commercial use. In addition to its headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, the company has concrete plants in Tampa, Fla., Savannah, Ga., and Atlanta. The Savannah plant produces insulated precast walls, square and cylinder piling, concrete slabs and girders, box beams, sheet piles, and structural marine and highway elements. It has supplied materials for such major projects as the Ravenel Bridge in Charleston, S.C., Naval Pier in Norfolk, Va., and the I-95 bridge over the Trout River in Jacksonville, Fla. With its design/build capabilities, Standard Concrete Company has an in-house engineering staff that designs the majority of its projects.
