Skidaway Institute of Oceanography, also known as SkIO, is a multidisciplinary research institution. It conducts research on marine and coastal systems, as well as offers training programs for scientists. The Institute publishes information related to economic and environmental issues. It has a library that stocks various types of books, journals and databases In addition, the library has an auditorium with a seating capacity of more than 70 people.
