Ok so you have to get over that it is an old building, but we walk in the door and feel like we have come home everyone is so nice. It was amazing food, I have never eaten so much in my life, the turkey dressing is delicious, the smothered pork chops, the green beans, the lima beans, they mac and cheese, the cornbread, the ribs omg made me clean my place...it was really amazing and I didn't mind paying for it, the quality and quantity are well worth the oldness of the building and the people are extremely nice, we never leave without a conversation!
Just got back from lunch at Browns. I would have never went there, except I had a gift certificate. Anyway... the food was DELICIOUS and the waitress, Asia, was extremely nice, and we wanted for nothing. The BEST thing on the buffet was the homemade dressing. YUM. The desserts-- red velvet cake AND strawberry cheese cake-- were extremely yummy. The ONLY reason I don't give this 5 stars instead of 4 is because the building itself is a little old, and the atmosphere isn't anything to write home about. HOWEVER, if you just want some good soul/country food-- this is the place to get it! Forget about the overpriced Paula Deen's. You can get better food here!
Yuck yuck yuck never again. I know they say never say never but this I know for sure they are unclean and unfriendly I wouldn't even feed my DOG this stuff food taste like a rust pot. I'm going to open a restaurant not haten or anything just speaking the TRUTH

This is an excellent family restaurant specializing in a variety of cuisine. The service atmosphere is super and the food is very southern country and enjoyable. There are several ethocentric selections. I suggest you try those delicious smothered Oxtails with gravy on a bed of white or yellow rice. Yummy. Primus, Tampa, FL
