I've had internet service via DSL for over a year. There are a lot of problems with AT&T with lost connections, slow speeds and being overcharged at start up. you have to pay for the DSL router up front and then get reimbursed. The 2 wire G box is known to be bad and drop connection frequently, which makes the wireless practically useless at times as you have to keep going back to readjust and reset the router to get a signal and then it drops the signal again for no apparent reason. Still, depending on who you get on the phone they are willing to work with you. Try to get someone local in the states. The overseas techs can only follow the script and not think outside the box or make deals with you. Contracts make it hard to get decent service after six months and bundle rates have so many extras tacked on that rates are not that cheap and connection not that good, but they will work with you if you are willing to call multiple times to get results.
