Prior Lake High School offers a college preparatory curriculum to more than 1,850 students in grades nine through 12 and is located in Prior Lake, Minn . It offers a variety of opportunities for development of the students in and out of the classroom. Its courses include English, social studies, mathematics, science, physical education, health education, humanities, computer science and a choice of more than 15 electives. Many of its courses are designated to meet the diverse needs of students across a broad range of abilities, interests and post-high school aspirations. It provides special education services, work program alternatives and vocational opportunities through Minnesota River Valley Special Education Co-op and Dakota County Technical College. Prior Lake High School offers various sports, including basketball, football, cheerleading, softball and volleyball.
