- Dental ExaminationA dental examination and health history are required to determine if you're a good candidate for implants. Your dentist and surgeon will collaborate closely to ensure a successful procedure.
- Teeth CleaningDeep teeth cleaning, also known as scaling and root planing, is a non-surgical procedure used to treat periodontal disease by removing plaque, tartar, and bacteria from below the gum line. This process helps prevent further gum inflammation and disease progression.

- VeneersPorcelain veneers are virtually undetectable, highly resistant to stains, and resemble natural tooth enamel in strength and appearance.
- CrownsOccasionally a temporary crown may come off. Call us at Park Saratoga Dental Phone Number (408) 252-5678 if this happens and bring the temporary crown with you so we can re-cement it. It is very important for the temporary to stay in place, as it will prevent other teeth from moving and compromising the fit of your final restoration.
- BridgesA dental bridge replaces missing teeth by attaching artificial teeth to adjacent natural teeth (abutment teeth). It can be either fixed (permanently bonded) or removable.

- Root Canal TreatmentRoot canal therapy can take 1-2 appointments to complete. After each appointment when anesthetic has been used, your lips, teeth and tongue may be numb for several hours. Avoid any chewing on the side of the treated tooth until the numbness has completely worn off.
- Deep CleaningTreatment usually starts with deep cleaning methods like scaling and root planing to remove plaque, tartar, and bacteria from below the gum line. In more severe cases, surgery may be needed to reduce deep pockets and restore gum health.
- DenturesIf you wear a flipper or partial denture, it’s advised not to use the appliance for the first 10 days after surgery. Once the sutures have been removed or dissolved, you may return to wearing it normally.
- Dental ImplantsAfter your surgical implant, a submergible implant has been placed in your mouth, remaining under the tissue and invisible for a period of 3-6 months, depending on your body’s healing process. A follow-up appointment will be scheduled to examine the implant in about 4-5 months. For the remainder of the day, it's important to keep your head elevated at a 45-degree angle.

- Flap SurgeryAntibiotics or antimicrobial rinses may be used to control infection. In some cases, gum grafts or flap surgery might be necessary to repair and regenerate damaged gum tissue and bone.
- Tooth ExtractionsAfter tooth extraction, it’s important for a blood clot to form to stop the bleeding and begin the healing process. That’s why we ask you to bite on a gauze pad for 30-45 minutes after the appointment. If the bleeding or oozing still persists, place another gauze pad and bite firmly for another 30 minutes. You may have to do this several times.
