Echo Shop Of St Andrews Church is owned and operated by The Episcopal Church Women of Saint Andrews. The shop sells donated items for a fraction of the cost if bought new. With the proceeds, the organization makes annual grants to 15 community service organizations, including Our Daily Bread and the Santa Maria Urban Mission. The all-volunteer staff consists of 130 members and one paid custodian. Although the shop accepts various items, it can't accept large items such as computers, TVs, ski boots, ski poles, furniture and microwaves due to space constraints. The Episcopal Church Women of St. Andrews founded the shop to make money for charities.
