Provided by YP.comIf I could give this Target in Sarasota on S. Tamiami Trail a ZERO, I would.
My sister and I came into Target to copy a wedding photo of mine for my mother. Once the copy had been made, the employee, Christina, would not give me my photo due to Target rules and regulations about copyright laws. We then called the photographer to get a release of the photo, even though I had been granted rights to the photo 2 years prior. Target wanted a written release, and my photographer was willing and able to fax or email the written release. Christina proceeded to tell us that she didn't know the store's fax number and then started to help another customer rather than resolve our situation. The store manager, Jennifer, was called to supposedly help us. She proceeded to say, "how do we know that's the photographer on the phone?" We offered to hang up, dial the photographer's phone number on the back of the original photo to prove that is in fact the photographer, but she refused...which implied that we were lying. She said that according to Target's rules and regulations that we needed a written release. Our photographer then said "We can email Target the written release" and the manger insisted on not accommodating us. They were rude, unprofessional, and they taunted me and my sister by waiving the copy of my wedding photo in our faces. As we walked out of the store after they had refused to help us in any way, shape, or form, my sister lost her cool and said things she should have not said either.
When Target says that they want a written release and don't accept the two types of written releases that were offered to them, that is just poor and tasteless customer service. Were they lazy? Did they not want to go above and beyond to satisfy the customers' wishes?
