Although they have been managing my property for several years, my experience with them is going down hill. They have kept qualified renters in my house the entire time, but recently I've been noticing in the last months that they have become quite "renter friendly" and less owner friendly. I've always maintained my house to the same standard that I had when I lived there, and have experienced a couple of emails that have hit my the wrong way, seemingly implying that they seem to be concerned about getting the service paid if they are done directly and not as a deduction from rent disbursement. Also in a complaint from my neighborhood association about noise from the property, they questioned not the renter but the neighbor who had directed the complaint to the homeowner board. I feel like they are representing the renter more than they are representing me at the current time! I 'm considering a change in management.

Not happy. Very unprofessional handling of a serious repair issue. I need a company that protects my properties so I can be free to live life and not worry. They really dropped the ball and it cost me $$$. I am shocked at the people they rented to. They had bad credit, a poor rental history and in no way would I have permitted it. I deeply regret trusting them to manage my properties. Once I expressed my displeasure they became evasive and rude. Owners beware.

SML is a great property manager. As the landlord to whom I paid my rent, they were responsive and concerend about my comfort in the home. After nearly 2 years as a tenant in one of the homes they manage, I recommend SML highly.
