Sarasota High School has an enrollment of more than 2,000 students in grades nine through 12. Its curriculum includes English, mathematics, science, social and business studies, arts, foreign languages, and computer and physical education. Additionally, the school supports a comprehensive athletic curriculum that includes sports activities, such as cheerleading, tennis, track, baseball and softball. Its student services include a library, media center and cafeteria. Located in Sarasota, Fla., the school operates several student activities, including band, chorus and color guard team. Sarasota High School also offers a peer tutoring program, which is designed to provide students with an additional avenue to develop and strengthen the skills necessary for their academic success.
