I am a Reading Specialist in Sarasota, Florida. I wrote and published a book called The Road to Reading. It has been extremely well received by teachers, parents, and administrators. The 196 pages focuses on a balanced reading program which includes easy to understand descriptions of reading terminology, reproducible phonics lesson plans, sight word lists, assessment tools, and visual aides. Unlike other instructional reading books, The Road to Reading is written so that teachers and parents can easily help children achieve reading success!
