Normans is the best place in Sarasota to purchase liquor... you can't bet the price''s and they are very helpful. The ladies that work there just add to the place.. they are always very helpful.

Brutal customer service fro years...they are smug, self serving and almost rude since they do in fact have a great selection of all spirits, beers and wines. Unfortunately there is not a competitor in close proximity which allows them to be so unfriendly to customers. I try hard never to go there.

Horrible customer service. I was asked to leave after I asked to use the bathroom and then "stubbled around in a drunkenly manner". I had nothing to drink the entire evening and I had a birth defect in my left leg making it slightly painful to walk after working all week(if he let me talk at all, he would've learned this). He insisted I was drunk and told me and my brother to leave at once. I was extremely offended and will never go back.

They have a terrific selection and prices are the best around - their normal prices are as cheap as the big discounters. Plus they run specials which can't be beat. Someone complained about not being able to return an $18 bottle of wine even thought they had spent $300. It's not about how much money you spend, it's about why you return the bottle. If you don't like the taste it just means you choose the wrong brand. You should only return a bottle if its gone bad. Local wine drinker
