"Board-certified surgeon and former professor of cardiothoracic and general surgery, Dr. Michael Levy has been specializing in vein procedures for nearly ten years – following a decades-long career in cardiac, vascular and endovascular surgery. Treating patients at United Vein Centers in Sarasota, Florida since 2016, Levy enjoys providing his patients with a better quality of life. “Patients come in with leg cramps or restless legs – problems that tend to creep up on people – and we can really help them,” he says. “With most of our vein procedures, patients don’t even have any downtime, and they immediately feel better.” Having completed more than 4,000 vein procedures, Levy makes a point of getting to know his patients so that he can advise them on precisely the right treatment for their particular symptoms. “It’s really rewarding helping patients function better and feel better,” he says."
