Have been dealing with this company for years; not only as a customer, but as co-businesses as well. I had an irrigation well drilled on Anna Maria Island. Ted Merritt, the owner, came out and answered all my questions before work began. The crew was professional and courteous to our as well as our neighbors needs. We just received our first water bill since installation, we saved $400 per month! UNBELIEVABLE we didn't do it sooner! Merritt Well & Pump was at our rental property this afternoon. We had an emergency where our pump stopped working and our water stopped flowing. The owner brought a crew over to access the problem and then gave us a reasonable quote. They installed a new water pump within two years. They were courteous and the price was right. And most importantly, we had water for the weekend.

Merritt Well & Pump were out at my home today to do an emergency repair on my water well. The problem was identified quickly, the repair was done and the bill was reasonable.

To start with - he NEVER showed up. When I called him the second time (at 2 hours late) after receiving his voicemail which assured me he would get back to me within 15 minutes the previous time an hour before I got the same voicemail. About a half hour later he finally called, said he was sorry but had forgotten me. Then he said he'd talk to his other guy and let me know what time they's get there. Never heard from him again!

Satisfactory hardly describes my view of Ted Merritts work. Id woken up in the middle of the night to a crying infant and no water. Having come recommended by a number of neighbors and colleagues, I contacted Merritt Well & Pump. Within a couple of hours, Ted Merritt had my water running. Mr. Merritt explained what had gone wrong and solved the problem at a reasonable price. Merritt Well & Pump is an excellent, reliable operation. Highly recommended!
