Provided by YP.comI have had a service/maintenance contract with Gary Air for more than seven years. They came out every six months and "inspected" my ac system. After their last "inspection", my system stopped blowing cold air. Gary Air came back out and told me that my system was dead and that it was my fault for not following their advice. The office manager and the owner's son both told me I needed a new system for almost $2,000. I called Sean McCutcheon's AC for their "free second opinion". Although it was late on a Friday afternoon, this second company came right out, inspected my system and found a TINY DEAD BUG BLOCKING THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTION. They cleaned out the tiny dead bug (for no $ charge) and my system worked fine. I definitely did not need a new system. Gary Air had been my service/maintenance company for more than seven years but they denigrated me for not following their wrong advice and tried to sell me a new system I didn't need. They neglected to check for a dead bug blocking the electrical connection. Apparently, every other ac service company in Florida knows that dead frogs or bugs often can get in the ac system and cause it to malfunction. The management of Gary Air tried to sell me a new system instead. Beware of Gary Air.

Provided by YP.comWhat a pleasure it was doing business with this company. I called for a problem with my air conditioner and they sent a very knowlegable technician out. Another company had told me that I needed to replace my unit and Gary Air found that the breaker was turned off on the roof. This company could have told me the same thing but they didn't. The technician was honest and only charged me a reasonable service charge which we were more than happy to pay. Their honesty saved us thousands of dollars and we will tell all of our freinds.
