Aarons had a party at my apartment complex and told me I would get a washer and dryer for $700 if paid in 4 months. The sales manager, Calvin, was at the promotional party with apparently his wife that doesn't even work there. They told me about 6 times that I was getting a 20% discount and if paid in 4 months the washer and dryer would be a total of $700, which was too good to be true. The prices weren't listed in the catalog for the set.
The delivery men came and delivered the items and then handed me the paper work. Aarons tried to scam me by thinking that I wouldn't read what I was signing and guilting me into buying this by it already sitting in my apartment. The price on paper was over 2k with interest. If I didn't do 2 years of financing it was still about $1200 plus taxes and everything else paid in 4 months. I called and was unable to reach Calvin to inform him I was not getting the set. I ripped up the papers and told the delivery men to get everything out and I don't like liars.
My friend as my witness says he also heard them say several times that the set was $700 total. Save your money and time. Amazon is cheaper and at least you won't be conned into buying something out of guilt. The delivery men were not too friendly with removing the washer and dryer and left water all over my carpet.
