Recently, when I took my car in for its 30,000 warranty required checkup (a steal at $200 as it is usually around $400) the manager on duty went through my car's information seeing that my spark plugs were good for 90,000 miles and so he would not need to replace them! He could have let me not know the better and charged me for the full $200 but instead he took off forty dollars for the spark plugs, leaving me to pay slightly less than I had anticipated going in (I still had to pay extra for synthetic oil, but as I have said before that is predictable). Not being knowledgeable about cars Meineke and crew could have EASILY ripped me off several times, but they never have. They have always been kind and helpful, trying to make it as affordable as possible each time that I am there. Bitter reviewers who do not pay attention to what the in the know car guy is telling you should not bother reviewing, because it comes off very temper-tantrumish. I will continue going to Meineke in Santee and
I have been taking my beloved Ford F-150 and my husbands Maza B2300 (Ranger) to Meineke Car Care Centers in Santee for around 2 years now. This after a disastrous FINAL trip to Pep Boys in Santee! The customer service from Gary Thompson and his crew is second to none and I will never take my trucks to any other car care center. Every time we take our trucks in for service Gary will always tell us what our vehicles need per the Owners Manuals and/or items that need attention due to our own neglect. He has never put pressure on us but left the decision to us.
