Southwest Steel Coil has a more than 55,000-square-foot high-bay facility, which is serviced by heavy-capacity overhead cranes. It produces a wide range of coil products in a variety of packaging options, such as bare skids, plastic bags and standup coil arrangements. The facility is located on more than seven acres of land. It has a Braner slit line that processes over 10,000 tons of slit coils each month. The facility is equipped to handle coils up to 60 inches wide and weighing up to 55,000 pounds. Southwest Steel Coil serves the El Paso, Texas, and Juarez and Chihuahua, Mexico markets. It has various divisions, including sales, purchasing, accounts, shipping and human resources. Southwest Steel Coil is a subsidiary of Calstrip Industries, which is a producer of stainless steel flat products. Southwest Steel Coil is located in Santa Teresa, N.M.
