Provided by YP.comDuring lunch at the Villa, our waiter recommended Trecini Sauvignon Blanc as a wine too try. We all loved it and called Trecini for a tasting appointment. Our group just left the Trecini tasting room and we got to do a tasting of all their wines. The biggest NOT-problem was deciding which one to buy because we LOVED all the wines. So we (the 6 of us) each bought some of each. It was a wonderful experience and the Vicini family was delightful and wine knowledgeable. We all give it a outstanding 5 stars!

Provided by YP.comI just had dinner at Cafe Portofino (it was really good by the way) in Santa Rosa and tried the Trecini 08 Pinot. When the bartender suggested it, I had never heard of that winery. It was absolutely delicious. It wasn't high in alcohol and I could actually taste the fruit. It was really good and I suggest you try it if you see it on the wine list. I want to try their other wines now.
Good job Trecini!

Provided by YP.comWith all the wines out on the market, none have been as food friendly and enjoyable as the Trecini wines have been. I got hooked by their 2005 Merlot and the 2006 was just as tasty. Since then I have tried all their wines but now I'm in love with their Rockpile Zinfandel and 2006 Syrah. The European style of winemaking is very suited to enjoyment. Smooth and full of flavors that go with almost any meal I make. In the blind tasting parties I bring it to, it"s always chosen the favorite. I can hardly wait to see what they do with their Pinot in October.
