Dr. Jon Sterngold has been a practicing physician for 40 years, primarily as a board-certified Emergency Medicine doctor, as well as a preventative medicine doctor with an emphasis on diet and exercise (and more recently, with an interest in managing multiple diseases in our aging population). Dr. Sterngold is sensitive to patients’ confusions at the hands of doctors who add their diagnoses and prescribe medications without analyzing care for medication interactions. Unlike most primary care physicians who generally do not have the time to thoroughly explain and interpret patient health challenges, Dr. Sterngold takes the needed time to talk to his patients about their care and answer any questions they may have. A Stanford University graduate, Dr. Sterngold is opening his practice at TrueNorth Health to Medicare patients who find themselves dealing with two or more medical diagnoses, taking multiple medications, and/or who would like a physician’s help in understanding and managing their “big picture” health issues, while optimizing health and well-being. Dr. Sterngold is also available for counseling and life coaching as it relates to medicine and health, relationships, and stage-of-life issues.
