Dr. Murray, a 1979 graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Dentistry, previously served as associate professor and director of clinical research at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She earned a certificate in Periodontology and a Ph.D. in Oral Biology and Microbiology from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and holds dental licenses in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, New Jersey and California.Dr. Murray has a strong background in clinical research and has been the recipient of numerous grants from both government and private institutions. In addition to her teaching positions at UMDNJ, she also served in the Department of Stromatology, Division of Periodontology at the University of California, San Francisco, where she was the co-investigator (under Dr. John Greenspan) on a $3.9 million grant from the United States Public Health Service to study Oral Manifestations of the Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome. Her research and clinical reputation in the field of HIV-associated periodontal infections is nationally known.Dr. Murray is listed in Whos Who in American Women and has received development awards from the National Institute of Health and the National Institute of Dental Research in 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992. She has also served as a consultant for Proctor and Gamble and has done applied research for P&G, Oral-B Laboratories and the Pro-Dentec Corporation.At UOP, Dr. Murray coordinated the responsibilities of 17 faculty members in expanding the periodontics curriculum. She has a lifelong enthusiasm for learning which she hopes to impart to students both clinically and didactically.

Im a 29 year old Female and I got my teeth knocked out in an accident. Patricia and her team made me feel right at home during and after the procedure. I love their service dog too!
Dr. Murray 's office provides the best dental experience that I've ever encountered. They are all thorough in their exams, explanations, and services. I've switched my entire family to her office!
I'm a 29 year old female and I got into an accident where I knocked out my two front teeth out. Patricia Murrary was very informative about what need to be done and I felt at home here with her and all of her team during the procedure.
excellent office protocol and professionalism
I have been coming to see Dr. Murray for several years and have always had a great experience in the office. The front and back office staff have always been friendly, knowledgeable and calm under pressure, which is a great thing in a busy office! Dr. Murray takes time with you to explain what is going on and the best options to treat and the other dentists and hygienists in the office are also very clear and caring in their treatment.

I saw Dr. Murray in 2007 and was quite satisfied with her services. She had been recommended by my dentist who had positive feedback from other patients. I did not use insurance so I don't know about that aspect. Good help is hard to find but based on my experience I would recommend her as being a skilled dentist and the staff at that time was helpful.
Dental skills above average. Office staff run poorly. I do not know if Dr. Murry isDental skills above average. Office staff poor. I do not know if Dr. Murry gets involved with the running of the office, but if she does, she should take some management courses. She has no idea that is the patient that makes the doctor successful. When there is that much turnover in an office, you have to ask yourself a few questions. Like, who can I trust in providing accurate information. I am still waiting for the records requested by my insurance so that I can be compensated for the $1500 dollars I have paid Dr. Murry. Once I get this, then Dr. Murry can be fully compensated for her services. Instead, she tells clients that the insurance staff have lost her x-rays, and no more copies exist. In my opinion, this office can not be trusted, and any agreement made needs to be certified in writing.
