Established in 1983, Turning Point Transitional Housing is a more than 55-bed housing facility for homeless people. The facility provides housing and supportive services for up to 9 months. It offers intensive case management, independent living assistance, money management, health and computer education and job counseling services. Turning Point Transitional Housing s enrolls the clients who complete the 9-month program in the Turning Point Alumni Association. It provides after care services to graduates by conducting regular social activities, support groups, individual counseling and peer outreach programs. The facility additionally offers crisis intervention and day care services. Turning Point Transitional Housing is a part of OPCC, which is a community-supported organization that provides housing services for low-income and homeless youth, adults and families.
