- OphthalmologyI enjoyed research, but had my heart set on medicine because I really love the personal interaction with patients. I went to medical school at the University of Southern California where I earned my M.D. in 1978. I did my internship and residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Obstetrics/Gynecology, drawn to the field because I especially love working with women and being part of their important life events. On the first day of my internship I met my husband, Michael Reynard, M.D., who has had an ophthalmology practice for the last 30+ years in Santa Monica. I have two daughters. My eldest is a clinical health psychologist in Chicago, and my youngest is a writer here in Los Angeles.
- GynecologyI have a large gynecology practice with patients that range in age from 16 to 90. I'm an advocate of preventative medicine. I take the Well-Woman exam very seriously; this may be the only time that many patients see a doctor. This exam is an opportunity to discuss personal situations such as exercise and maintaining proper body weight. With patients who are struggling to quit addictions or smoking, we talk about the options that best suit their situations. Flu vaccines are available at the office.
- Female Infertility
- ObstetricsI've dedicated these years to providing complete health care for women at all stages of their lives, including high-risk obstetrics, gynecology, infertility, and surgery. My patients have come to know me as ultra-dedicated, thorough, and knowledgable. I relate to them without judgement, and give them the answers they need.

- Laparoscopic SurgeryOver the 30+ years, I've performed thousands of successful surgeries, and have made sure that patients heal and recover quickly. I will explain what you can expect so that it will be a positive experience. I perform laparoscopic surgery at both hospitals in Santa Monica and at the Surgery Center of Santa Monica. Most patients recover more quickly after laparoscopic hysterectomies compared to abdominal hysterectomies. Whenever possible, I operate laparoscopically.
