El Camino Junior High School was established in 1931 and offers educational classes to more than 650 students in grades seven to eight. It has a library media center that offers online catalog and provides students the opportunity to access library materials and related resources on the Web. The school offers education in a wide range of academic courses, such as computer technology, career education, creative writing, language arts, mathematic, science, special education, social studies, English and physical education. It offers a variety of athletic activities, including basketball, volleyball, cross country, softball, and track and field. El Camino Junior High School is governed by the Santa Maria-Bonita School District and is located in Santa Maria, Calif.
