General Info

Dr. Christina Bonno Whitehurst was raised in Houston and was excited to join her fathers practice in Santa Fe. She graduated from Clear Lake High School in 2005 and obtained her B.S. in Biology from Texas A&M University in 2009. In May of 2013 she completed her DDS at Texas A&M Health Science Center Baylor College of Dentistry. As the daughter of Dr. Frank Bonno, she grew up shadowing her father and his associates, and she quickly learned she wanted to practice dentistry. After graduating from dental school, she joined her father here at the practice. In August 2015 Dr. Christina married Preston Whitehurst and shortly moved to Galveston, Texas. They both love living close to the water and taking advantage of the numerous outdoor activities Galveston has to offer.Dr. Whitehurst is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and local 9th distrtict Dental Society. She's also participated with Texas Missions of Mercy. She truly enjoys meeting new people every day and getting to hear everyone's story. Each day is something unique and different, and she finds that dentistry is an exciting field. She's so grateful to be practicing with the guidance of her father and Dr. Fontenot.Dr. Whitehursts favorite pastime is spending time with her family. She loves when everyone is crammed in a kitchen, cooking together! Her hobbies include painting and sketching, dance, travel, and seeking out new foods and restaurants to try.
