Dr. Christina Bonno Whitehurst was raised in Houston and was excited to join her fathers practice in Santa Fe. She graduated from Clear Lake High School in 2005 and obtained her B.S. in Biology from Texas A&M University in 2009. In May of 2013 she completed her DDS at Texas A&M Health Science Center Baylor College of Dentistry. As the daughter of Dr. Frank Bonno, she grew up shadowing her father and his associates, and she quickly learned she wanted to practice dentistry. After graduating from dental school, she joined her father here at the practice. In August 2015 Dr. Christina married Preston Whitehurst and shortly moved to Galveston, Texas. They both love living close to the water and taking advantage of the numerous outdoor activities Galveston has to offer.Dr. Whitehurst is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and local 9th distrtict Dental Society. She's also participated with Texas Missions of Mercy. She truly enjoys meeting new people every day and getting to hear everyone's story. Each day is something unique and different, and she finds that dentistry is an exciting field. She's so grateful to be practicing with the guidance of her father and Dr. Fontenot.Dr. Whitehursts favorite pastime is spending time with her family. She loves when everyone is crammed in a kitchen, cooking together! Her hobbies include painting and sketching, dance, travel, and seeking out new foods and restaurants to try.

Santa Fe Dental has the best staff and doctors. I always feel welcomed and very taken care of. I live in League City and make the drive to come to this office.
Professional,knowledgeable, and friendly staff. Dr. Whitehurst reviewed all my treatment options and answered all my questions re pricing. I never felt rushed. The office itself is beautiful and comfortable. I've been coming here for years and would never go anywhere else. I've seen Dr. Whitehurst and Dr. Bonno. Both are excellent.

This lovely lady has such a pleasant personality. She always has a welcoming smile and never seems to have a bad day. But she is a great dentist as well. She is especially great with children. They seem to love her.
I have been seen by Dr Whitehurst for a number of years along with Casey my hygeist I look forward to each visit, three times a year. They really care about the health of my teeth and take the time to discuss any problems they may foresee.
Dr. Bonno was sweet and polite . I didn't have and pain after my dental procedure .
