Provided by YP.comReally fantastic selection!! When flowers and plants are this gorgeous who cares where they ship it in from ( other review ). The staff is more knowledgeable than most places I've ever been. They do seem annoyed sometimes but wouldn't you if people were constantly pulling you aside while you were working. I've seen it, I don't care. They help and I've learned a lot from the staff there that made me a better gardener.
Agua fria is my favorite place to go and buy indoor and outdoor plants.
Too many plants die from people learning, I totally get the no return policy. One of the boys told me years ago " if your not killing plants you're not learning". As much as you don't want to hear that, it's the truth.
Plants teach patience so go into Agua Fria patient.
Respect.

Provided by YP.comI went to this nursery for the owner Bob's advice, which is wonderful, and the plants, which can be interesting. However, many are grown elsewhere and shipped in, and there is a no-return policy regardless. Not good.
There used to be a staffer named Colin who was also great to talk to but he is gone now. Having said that, there are 2 immature staff members in their 40s there whose behavior is CONSISTENTLY rude and just downright appalling, and unfortunately one happens to be one of the owner's sons and the other looks like an extra from Mad Max, and is another son. That one is really arrogant! They both seem to think they can act and say whatever they want to a customer, no matter how obnoxious, and in any other company they would have been fired years ago--and indeed, with those attitudes, been hard pressed to find a job at all. It is because of them I will not go back . I feel bad for the rest of the staff also, having to work with these jerks. Better to keep on driving far down the road to Plants of the Southwest--a fantastic place with native plants and a yummy restaurant well worth seeking out.

Provided by YP.comThe owners are very knowledgeable but the staff does not travel extensively as one writer said. But having said that, some of the staff are quite knowledgeable also.
The owner tends to have a rather smug attitude at times which can be very annoying but one must defer to him since he really knows plants and to some degree has earned the right to be smug.
The one problem here, and it is a big one, is that they do not have a return policy on any of their plants, even if they fail shortly after purchase. This is contrary to most nurseries in the country and is reason enough to shop elsewhere.
