GLASSLIGHT Glasslight is one of the few studios in the world producing brilliant-cut glass on an architectural scale. Rich Samsel, who founded Glasslight in 1972, has perfected the hand cutting of precise designs into large panels of glass by means of diamond engraving wheels and a powerful suspension system of his own design. Rich has recruited engravers and glassworkers from the U.S. and Europe to assist in the execution of Glasslight's major architectural commissions. The studio is capable of fabricating most forms of decorative glass, with an emphasis on brilliant-cut glass.
