- CUSTOMIZED PRIVATE GUITAR & BASS LESSONS .... CREATIVE MUSIC INSTRUCTION ..... I have enjoyed teaching private guitar and bass lessons in the Santa Clarita Valley for 24 years. Seeing the lights go on in a student's eyes after learning a song or musical concept he or she thought was beyond their capability is a rewarding experience. To make the learning process easier for students, I record a slowed down version of the song they are practicing which allows them to play with the artist immediately. Jam tracks with bass and drums are provided for use at home. This allows each student to practice soloing with a band in the style of music he or she enjoys. Learning to write your own songs is presented in a clear and simple method. Many students have gone on to form their own bands, record CD's and even tour. Other students are simply interested in learning to play guitar and bass as a fun hobby. Whatever YOUR goals are, I will help you achieve them. I'm a 40 year old father of 2 awesome boys. I also work 70 hour weeks. So when I decided I wanted to take guitar lessons I needed to find someone flexible and who understood that my ability to practice is bit less than when I was 18 and didn't have a mortgage, car payments, tuition, etc :) Enter Craig Beck! Craig asked about my experience and what I wanted to get out of taking lessons. I explained I just wanted to have fun and play the things that make me happy. At 40 and with a mountain of responsibilities, my chance to tour the world in a rock band are long gone :( I just want to escape to my man cave, crank up the Marshall, play my favorite music and lose myself for a few hours a week. Craig is an awesome instructor slowly he's helping me unleash my inner Eddie Van halen! He really makes it all so easy to understand and the tools he uses are amazingly helpful. He is extremely professional and fun and I've never felt like I didn't belong in his studio - even though I prob don't!
